The Legacy Continues
In 2005, Tom and Lily Ramirez officially took over The Paint Job from Tom’s parents, Maria and Andres Ramirez, who founded the company in 1979. Having grown up around ladders, drop cloths, and paint cans, Tom knew the value of hard work and quality craftsmanship from an early age. Together, he and Lily brought new energy and expanded the business while honoring the strong foundation built by the previous generation. Their leadership has carried The Paint Job into the modern era—blending time-tested techniques with a commitment to personalized service and long-lasting results.

Tom was passed down the business by his mother and father, Maria and Andres Ramirez, who started The Paint Job in 1979 with a simple mission: to provide honest, reliable, and high-quality painting services to Houston homeowners and businesses. With a brush in hand and a passion for hard work, he transformed the company—one project at a time. Over the years, Tom has become known not only for his expert painting skills but also for his old-school work ethic and dedication to doing every job right. Though he's stepped back from day-to-day painting, Tom still oversees major projects and mentors the team, passing on the values that built the business.
Lily Ramirez
Owner / Operations Manager
Behind every great painter is someone who keeps the wheels turning—and for The Paint Job, that’s Lily. As co-owner, Lily has managed the administrative side of the business since day one of her and Tom taking over the family business, handling scheduling, customer service, and keeping everything running smoothly. With a background in business and a talent for connecting with people, she ensures clients feel informed, supported, and confident from their first phone call to the final walkthrough. Lily’s warm personality, organization, and attention to detail have been key to The Paint Job’s long-standing reputation for professionalism and trust.
Carlos Ramirez
Lead Painter & Project Supervisor
Carlos, Brother of founders Tom and Lily, grew up on job sites and officially joined the team in 2005. With over 20 years of painting experience, he now leads the crew on residential and commercial projects, ensuring every detail is perfect from prep to final coat. Known for his sharp eye and steady hand, Carlos is passionate about maintaining the company’s reputation for top-tier work.
Jasmine Lee
Color Consultant & Client Coordinator
Jasmine brings both style and structure to The Paint Job. She helps clients choose the perfect colors, finishes, and design combinations to match their vision and space. With a background in interior design and a love for all things color, she makes the decision-making process fun, stress-free, and personal.
